Last night at the elegant Aqua Frontier Hotel and Restaurant, a wave of emotions filled the air as the FTS Lobo Organization Inc. celebrated a milestone that reflected not only its longevity but its unwavering spirit, a full decade of breaking barriers and building bridges.
The night’s theme, “From Shadows to Spotlight: 10 Years of FTS Brilliance,” beautifully captured the journey of FTS Lobo from its humble beginnings in 2015 to the powerful, inspiring movement it has become today.
At the heart of the celebration was President Leah Detaunon, who delivered a moving speech that resonated deeply with every ally, supporter, and member in attendance. Her message spoke of resilience, unity, and pride which are the very foundation upon which FTS Lobo was built. She reminded everyone that the organization’s story is not merely about recognition, but about the courage to be seen, the strength to stand together, and the love that binds a community that continues to rise despite adversity.
The evening became even more memorable as the organization proudly launched its official website, www.ftslobo.org, a new digital home that symbolizes FTS Lobo’s continuous growth and advocacy. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jerry Shangyin, delivered an impactful speech that reflected the organization’s progress over the years. He led a quick tour of the new website, emphasizing how it will serve as a beacon of information, inspiration, and connection for everyone who shares the same vision of equality and empowerment.
Although Board Member Jently Rivera, Board Member Dra. Reina, and Former Congressman Raneo Abu were not able to attend physically, their unwavering support and spirit were strongly felt throughout the event. Their legacy and contributions remain deeply woven into the organization’s story, a reminder that FTS Lobo is, and always will be, a family bound by purpose and love.
The night also honored individuals who embody the values and passion of FTS Lobo. Among those recognized were:
Jerry Bacay as Trailblazer of the Year – for leading with courage and innovation.
Jayjay Manalo as Most Empowered FTS Member – for representing strength and authenticity.
Leah Detaunon as FTS Luminary – for her guiding light and inspiring leadership.
Hon. Raneo E. Abu as Pillar of Pride – for his continued support and belief in inclusivity.
Ms. Rowena Dimasangal and Ms. Marites Hipolito as Allies of the Year – for their unwavering love and advocacy alongside the FTS family.
All the officers of FTS Lobo as Loyalty Awardees - for continuous service to the community alongside the values of FTS Lobo.
It was truly a night to remember filled with laughter, gratitude, tears, and pride. From the shadows of uncertainty to the spotlight of empowerment, FTS Lobo has proven that when hearts unite in love and purpose, brilliance follows.
As the organization steps into another decade, FTS Lobo Organization Inc. continues to stand as a symbol of hope, equality, and resilience. Ten years down, and a lifetime to go, still shining, still standing, and still inspiring.
